Bandits Kill Resident, Steal Cattle in Fresh Attack on Kutama Community in Kano State
KANO, Nigeria – Suspected bandits have reportedly killed a resident and stolen several cattle during a fresh attack on Kutama community in Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State.
According to reports, the armed attackers stormed the community on Friday, causing panic among residents. During the attack, a local resident identified as Muzakkir was shot dead.
The assailants also made away with an undisclosed number of cattle before escaping the area.
The incident was brought to public attention by security analyst Bakatsine, who shared details of the attack on social media. He expressed concern over the continued wave of violence affecting communities in northern Nigeria and questioned how long residents would remain vulnerable to repeated attacks.
As of the time of filing this report, security authorities had not released an official statement regarding the incident or confirmed whether efforts were underway to track down the attackers.
The latest attack adds to growing concerns over insecurity in parts of northern Nigeria, where communities continue to face threats from armed groups involved in killings, cattle rustling, and other criminal activities.
